Plan consult under a contract from Ghana’s Ministry of Water Resources, Works and Housing undertook Gender Assessment/Analysis of the Water and Sanitation Sector. It took stock of the Ghana Government’s effort to mainstream gender equality into the water and sanitation sector, with recommendations to inform the development of a gender responsive Sector Wide Approach for the water and sanitation sector. This involved the design of analytical framework for assessing GE policy Gender Equality (GE) issues and GE structures as well as the development of an assessment tool.
